A committee of Kuwait’s National Assembly has approved a draft expat quota bill that seeks to limit the number of Indians to 15% of the population. Around eight lakh Indians could reportedly be forced to leave Kuwait if the bill is enacted into law. Indian community constitutes the largest expat community in Kuwait, totalling 1.45 million.
