Indian-American Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi has been honoured with the Distinguished Leadership Award in recognition of his outstanding career and dedication to public service. Illinois State Secretary Jesse White presented the award to the Democratic leader. Krishnamoorthi, who was born in New Delhi, has been serving as US representative for Illinois’ 8th congressional district since 2017.
