Budget 2022-23 – A huge turning point

The finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled the budget for fiscal year 2022-23 on 1st February with an aim to boost growth amid continued disruption from Covid-19 and rising inflation. The Budget lays the foundation to turn national governance, integrating the Central and state government functions for common good, capturing the entire national physical, economic, financial, technological domains in one large national computer. If this massive digitization agenda is achieved, it will put an end to most of the issues, including leaks in the economy, in government spending and stop corruption.
