India has asked all its airlines to avoid the airspace of Iran, Iraq and the Gulf following tensions in the region.. Tensions between Iran and the United States have escalated after killing of the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. The US has confirmed it has killed Soleimani, head of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force, in an airstrike in Baghdad.
