Apple and Mozilla are launching new privacy tools for their web browsers, Safari and Firefox, to prevent companies like Google and Facebook from tracking users online. Safari will try to automatically distinguish useful cookies from the tracking ones as well as prevent circumventing cookie deletions. Firefox has similar protections and will roll them out to PCs in the coming months.
