Federer out of top-10 for the first time since 2002

Seventeen-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer has been ranked outside the top-10 of the ATP rankings for the first time since 2002. Currently ranked 16th, Federer holds the record for the most number of weeks at the top of the ATP rankings. Federer ended his season prematurely after sustaining a knee injury and is expected to return to action in 2017.
