Technology giant Google has shortlisted an Indian space technology startup named Team Indus to send a robot to the Moon under the company’s Lunar XPRIZE competition for $30 million. If selected, the spacecraft making startup will become the first privately-funded entity to make a lunar landing. The startup’s spacecraft is scheduled to launch at the end of 2017.
