The Kuwait government has filed a lawsuit in a Swiss court, seeking $1 bn as damages from the International Olympic Committee, following the country’s suspension from the Olympics. IOC and FIFA suspended Kuwait, for the third time since 2007, government interference in sports-related activities in the country. Kuwait is blacklisted by 16 other sports federations.
