Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has touched yet another landmark as he turned 50 on April 24th.. The batting maestro received a gift from Cricket Australia as his name was immortalized by getting a gate named after him at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). He is considered by many as the God of cricket and rightfully so. He has set innumerable records across all forms of cricket. In international cricket, the Master Blaster has scored more than 30,000 runs for India. The batting maestro has played the most ODIs (463) and has the most centuries. Sachin has scored 53 of his 100 hundreds in winning cause. Sachin hit six hundreds in World Cups. He has been phenomenal throughout his 24 years long career and added numerous records under his name. His cricketing career is an inspiration to many young cricketers who want to follow their passion and play for their country.
