Liz Truss is Britain’s next PM

Liz Truss has been named Britain’s next prime minister on 5th September, defeating Indian-origin Rishi Sunak and replacing Boris Johnson. She has promised to unveil measures to help struggling Brits within a week of taking office at 10 Downing Street. It makes her Britain’s fourth prime minister in six years and third female leader, after Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May.
