news

Google’s newest buildings at the company’s headquarters in Mountain View, California will have a dragonscale solar skin. It’s a first-of-its kind design made up of 90,000 silver solar panels with the capacity to generate nearly 7 megawatts of energy. The 90,000 individual solar panels will generate enough electricity to cover around 40% of the electricity used in the buildings, known as Bay View and Charleston East.
