According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Sri Lanka has signed a 10 billion Yuan (about $1.5 billion) currency swap deal with China. The agreement is valid for three years and will be used to promote bilateral trade and direct investment between the two countries. China is Sri Lanka’s largest source of imports, it further said.
