A Russian investment fund and India’s National Infrastructure Investment Fund have decided to invest $500 million each, to form a $1 billion (around ₹6,671 crore) Russian-Indian Investment Fund. The joint fund, BRICS Summit, will support “attractive investment opportunities and growth of Russian business” in India. Notably, this is a first of its kind partnership for NIIF.
