US President Joe Biden said that the government will replace its entire federal fleet of cars, trucks, SUVs and other vehicles with “clean electric vehicles” that are manufactured in the US. He further said that this would help create one million new jobs in the American auto industry. In 2019, US had roughly 6,50,000 vehicles in its federal fleet.
