Indian startups raised $11.4 billion in 2020

Indian startups have raised $11.4 billion in 2020, marking a 21.3% decline from the record $14.5 billion in 2019. The investments were led by $800 million raised by BYJU’S, followed by $700 million secured by PhonePe and $660 million raised by Zomato. Edtech platforms received the maximum funding of $1.7 billion, whereas, food delivery sector received $1.4 billion.
