Tata Sons has committed ₹1,000 crore for supporting the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, calling it an “unprecedented crisis”. Earlier, Tata Trusts Chairman Ratan Tata committed ₹500 crore to tackle the situation. Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said, “We are also bringing in the ventilators necessary and are gearing up to also manufacture the same soon in India.”
