Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed replacing the crowd-sourced online encyclopedia Wikipedia with a Russian version in the country. “It’s better to replace it with the new Big Russian Encyclopedia in electronic form…It will…[have] reliable information,” he was quoted by reports. Putin was reportedly speaking at a meeting of the Russian Language Council, held at the Kremlin, Russia.
