Water purifier made with rose-inspired structure costing ₹1.5

University of Texas at Austin researchers developed a new rose-inspired water purifier, with each flower-like structure costing less than about ₹1.5. Researchers developed a new kind of solar-steaming system from layered, black paper sheets coated with a special polymer and shaped into petals. Each structure can produce over half a gallon of water per hour per square metre.
