Rajasthan Royals, who are making a return to the IPL after a two-year suspension, have named Steve Smith as their captain for the upcoming season. Smith, who was the only player retained by Rajasthan Royals before the IPL auction, had led Rising Pune Supergiant to the final of IPL 2017. The announcement was made by RR mentor Shane Warne.
