American physicists have created the first ever Time Crystal, a structure periodic in space and time first proposed by Nobel-prize winning physicist Frank Wilczek in 2012. In a Time Crystal, particles in their lowest-energy state move in a perpetual motion without releasing rotational energy. In crystals, the system is spatially unsymmetrical and releases energy to reach the lowest energy state.
