The Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer film ‘Sultan’ has become the highest grosser of 2016 in India, within a week of its release. As per Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film, which released on July 6, earned ₹195.90 crore till 11th July. ‘Sultan’ has surpassed the lifetime earnings of the films ‘The Jungle Book’ (₹183.94 crore) and ‘Airlift’ (₹127.8 crore).
