WHO declares Liberia Ebola-free for the fourth time

The World Health Organization has declared Liberia Ebola-free, meaning there have been no reported cases of the virus for 42 days, for the fourth time. Liberia will now enter a three-month period of heightened surveillance. According to reports, Liberia accounted for 4,800 of the 11,300 Ebola-related deaths in West Africa.
