  • LGBTQ-Affirmative Psychotherapists Guild of UtahThe LGBTQ-Affirmative Psychotherapists Guild of Utah is a professional organization that provides education regarding LGBTQ mental health issues and provides a directory of LGBTQ-affirmative therapists.
  • Desert AIDS Project The Desert AIDS project offers services in high quality primary care, HIV-specialty care with access to their HIV Health Center, a dental clinic and a sexual health and wellness center.
  • Central Outreach Wellness Center Central Outreach and Wellness offers PrEP and free STD testing in Pittsburgh, Aliquippa, Erie, and Washington, Pennsylvania.
  • They provide individual, couples, and family counseling and all services are provided by graduate level students completing requirements for their practicum.

Anxiety and depression are two of the most common form of mental health conditions, both in the LGBTQ+ community and in heterosexual, cis populations. Because every person’s journey is different, supportive care should meet people where they are and honor their individuality. The mental health concerns outlined here affect people everywhere, but they can be especially common in LGBTQ+ communities where added stress, discrimination, or lack of acceptance often weigh heavily.

Services include primary care, acute illness care, substance abuse care and referral, minor surgery and skin procedures, and contraception.
