Russia has replaced Saudi Arabia to become India’s second-biggest supplier of oil in May amid the Ukraine war. In May, Indian refiners received about 8,19,000 barrels per day of Russian oil, the highest so far in any month. India’s oil imports in May were about 5.6% up from April and about 19% higher from a year earlier.
