The Defence Research and Development Organisation has successfully tested a man-portable anti-tank guided missile. The indigenously developed missile is a low weight, fire and forget missile and is launched from a portable launcher, integrated with thermal sight. The test was to prove the consistent performance for the minimum range and all the mission objectives were met. The DRDO is the premier agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in Ministry of Defence of the Government of India.
