France imposes third national lockdown amid rising COVID-19 cases

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that a ‘limited lockdown’ will be imposed across the nation and schools would be closed for three weeks. From next four weeks, travel restrictions will be imposed across the country and non-essential shops will close in line with measures already implemented in COVID-19 hotspots such as Paris.
