					<p>Tamilisai Soundararajan, who currently holds the position of Governor of Telangana, has been sworn in as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry till a new L-G is appointed. Soundararajan was given the additional charge after Kiran Bedi was removed from the post. CM Narayanasamy had urged President Ram Nath Kovind to recall Bedi, alleging that she stopped various welfare schemes.</p>
