Apple has temporarily closed all 53 stores in California in the US and over a dozen in London owing to a surge in COVID-19 cases. Apple has reportedly also closed its stores in Mexico, Brazil and many more across the US. Apple had reopened the vast majority of its over 270 US stores recently, although mostly by appointment only.
