Airtel Chairman Sunil Mittal has added $1.6 billion to his net worth this year while Mukesh Ambani, who controls rival operator Reliance Jio, lost $1.1 billion, according to Bloomberg. Airtel is this year’s top performer on Sensex, jumping 26% and reaching a record on May 19. Mittal’s net worth stands at $9.6 billion while Ambani has a fortune of $57.5 billion.
