Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has overtaken Jack Ma as Asia’s richest person with a $49.2 billion fortune following the Facebook-Jio deal. Ambani and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg have added $4.7 billion and $4.2 billion to their respective net worths as shares of their companies surged. Facebook said it will buy 10% of Jio Platforms for $5.7 billion.
