Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani has been elected as the first Indian trustee to the board of the largest US art museum, the 149-year-old Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Her backing “has had an enormous impact on the museum’s ability to study and display art from every corner of the world,” the museum’s Chairman Daniel Brodsky said.
