Typhoon Hagibis Leaves A Trail Of Destruction Across Japan

Typhoon Hagibis that struck the Japan on October 12 with high-intensity winds and heavy downpour over 36 of Japan’s 47 districts. The typhoon has caused landslides and heavy floods that led to heavy destruction of property in the nation. Japan typically sees impacts from between five and six typhoons per year, though not all of these make direct landfall. Even among these, however, Typhoon Hagibis stands out for its track and the amount of rainfall it delivered to highly populated areas in a short period.
