Mary Kom becomes the most successful boxer

Indian boxer Mary Kom has become the first boxer in history across male and female categories to win eight World Championships medals. The 36-year-old lost her semi-final bout in 51-kg flyweight category against Busenaz Cakiroglu of Turkey in a split 1:4 verdict to bag bronze on 12th October. She has won World Championships gold six times, along with a silver medal.
