At $6.7 bn, Pak owes China double the amount it owes to IMF in 3 yrs

Pakistan needs to repay China $6.7 billion over the three years through June 2022, more than double the amount it owes the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The country owes IMF $2.8 billion, according to the crisis lender. The IMF in July approved a $6-billion bailout package for Pakistan, one of the biggest beneficiaries of China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
