19-yr-old Hungarian breaks Phelps’ 200m butterfly record

Hungary’s 19-year-old swimmer Kristof Milak has broken the men’s 200m butterfly world record after winning the event in 1:50.73 seconds at FINA world championships in South Korea’s Gwangju. The previous record was set by 23-time Olympic gold medallist Michael Phelps, who had clocked a timing of 1:51.51 seconds in 2009. “It’s a tremendous honour,” Milak said after setting the record.
