The Barry Jenkins directorial ‘Moonlight’ has won the Oscar for ‘Best Picture’ at this year’s Academy Awards. Initially, ‘La La Land’ was mistakenly announced ‘Best Picture’ by the presenter Warren Beatty. Based on the play ‘In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue’, ‘Moonlight’ also won two other Oscars including ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’ and Mahershala Ali’s win in ‘Best Supporting Actor’ category.
