Flipkart rival Amazon India’s losses for the financial year 2015-16 have soared to ₹3,572 crore from ₹1,724 crore in the previous year, according to regulatory documents sourced from data platform Tofler. However, the company’s revenues grew more than double compared to the last year, to ₹2,275 crore. Earlier this month, Amazon made its single largest investment of ₹2,010 crore in India.
