Shuttler PV Sindhu has climbed two places to be ranked a career-best 7th in the latest Badminton World Federation rankings. She remains to be the highest-ranked Indian and is followed by Saina Nehwal, who jumped one spot to 10th place. In men’s singles, Sameer Verma rose 13 spots to be ranked 30th, while Kidambi Srikanth fell one spot to number 13.
