ISRO launches India’s 1st reusable space shuttle

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully tested India’s first indigenously made Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV), that is capable of launching satellites into space and then re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere. Launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 7 am today, the winged flight vehicle glided back onto a virtual runway in the Bay of Bengal after a 10-minute mission.
