The Indian Ministry of Culture has raised the entry fees to 116 of the country’s protected monuments. Indians and residents of other South Asian countries will now have to pay ₹30 at the UNESCO World Heritage monuments and ₹15 for other monuments. Travellers from all other countries will have to pay Rs 500 and ₹Rs 200.
