NASA’s most powerful rocket to send 13 tiny satellites into space

The Space Launch System (SLS), NASA’s most powerful rocket ever is planning to launch an uncrewed Orion spacecraft to a stable orbit beyond the Moon in 2018, that will also carry 13 tiny satellites to test innovative ideas. These small satellite secondary payloads or ‘CubeSats’ will carry science and technology investigations to help pave the way for future human exploration in deep space, including the journey to Mars.
