Russia intensifies air strikes against IS in Syria

Russian air force has intensified military operation against Islamic State (IS) targets in Syria, shortly after the Kremlin said that a passenger plane that crashed in Egypt last month was brought down by a bomb. Russian Federal Security Service has said that the downing of the plane in Sinai was the result of a terrorist attack. president Vladimir Putin vowed vengeance and massive anti-terror campaign in Syria. On October 30, a Russian plane crashed in Egypt's Sinai peninsula, killing all 224 people aboard. IS claimed responsibility for downing the plane. It also claimed responsibility for the terrorist attacks in Paris on 13th Nov., which claimed at least 129 lives and injured over 350 people.
