NASA astronaut Christina H Koch has set a new record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman, after crossing the 288-day mark aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Koch broke the record previously set by former NASA astronaut and the first female Space Station Commander Peggy Whitson. Notably, Koch was also part of humanity’s first all-woman spacewalk.
