2016 Paralympics silver medallist Deepa Malik announces retirement

Paralympics silver medallist, has announced her retirement to hold her post as the President of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) in accordance with the National Sports Code. Deepa Malik is an Indian athlete. She is the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Games and won a Silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the shot put. She has also won gold in F-53/54 Javelin event at the para athletic grand Prix held in Dubai in 2018.
