RIKEN engineers have developed a material that is both highly stretchable and displays good electrical conductivity. The team created the material by combining polyurethane elastic polymer nanofibers with a network of conductive silver metal nanowires. Researchers believe that the material can be used for on-skin electronics for people and wiring for robots.
