Belgium has agreed to give up about 35 acres of land near the Meuse river in exchange for around seven acres of land from the Netherlands, to settle a territorial issue. The land owned by Belgium reportedly suffered from lawlessness and prostitution as it was not accessible by Belgian authorities because it is on Netherland’s side of the Meuse river.
