After spending 10 months in prison for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, Oscar Pistorius is set to be released on 21st August.At one end a devoted band of international supporters are backing the release of Pistorius, on the other, many South Africans are disheartened about the athlete’s release.However, the ‘Blade runner’ could find himself back behind bars soon, depending on the outcome of the state’s appeal of his conviction, which is due to be heard in November by a panel of judges at the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein.
